Most Creative SNL Digital Short

What is your favorite SNL Digital Short?

There have been some good ones in the last year, but I think by far the most creative one is Dear Sister. I didn’t realize until today that it’s a parody of the season finale of The O.C.

You may need to turn up the volume a bit on this, but enjoy and let me know your favorite:

I wrote a lengthy rant about how I can’t stand so much of SNL’s humor any more…then I deleted it. Didn’t want to have to justify my views. Just give me the truly funny stuff, SNL…I don’t need gay humor to make me laugh uncomfortably…no raunchy sex humor…just funny please, SNL. Bring back the funny.

KC, have you seen any of the NBC show Studio 60?

Nope…but I’ll Tivo it. Thanks, dud. (And I do mean dud…Doug is not a dude…he’s a dud, in the coolest kind of way. )

Who exactly came up with “dud”? Matt?

Studio 60 is kind-of like real life latenight sketch comedy. It started out hilarious, and ended up on the verge of cancellation.

That show needs to get back to being funny, and drop all the meoldrama. Matthew Perry is genius. but they’re not giving him much to work with…

‘meoldrama’ is the kitty-kat way of saying ‘melodrama’… oops!

It looks like Studio 60 has officially assumed room temperature. Usually when my DVR is filled up with show episodes and it gets cancelled, I hit the mass delete button and mutter a bad word. However, Studio 60, I think is so well written and acted, that I will watch the remaining episodes full-well knowing there is no happy ending.

    R.I.P.
